What is it like to live in the Bahamas?
In the previous installment of the Bahamas series, we talked about how convenient this country is from a fiscal point of view.
Today we see what it is like to live in the Bahamas.
To get a visual representation, think that the Bahamas are made up of about 700 islands, and 2,500 islets, spread over 750 miles inside the Atlantic Ocean, but of course only some of these islands are inhabited, and others offer an excellent opportunities for weekend excursions.
It is an extraordinary environment for those who love the outdoors, the sun, the sea, and sport.
For example, activities like tennis, golf, scuba diving, fishing, and cricket, are very popular.
People also choose the Bahamas for its excellent flight connections.
There are half a dozen daily flights to international destinations such as Miami, London and New York.
It is a tax haven loved even more by Americans, since the Bahamas are territorially very close to the United States.
In fact, it takes just 45 minutes to fly from Florida to Nassau.
In the next episode, we will ask ourselves if there are any problems with living in this tax haven, if there are hidden expenses, what are the rental costs and if it is a safe country.
